Abstract

|
Asthma in infancy can be confused with a variety of airway diseases, because not all that wheezes is asthma However, any infant with three or more recurrent, episodes of wheezing should be considered as having asthma.
The combination of long-term theophylline therapy and aerosolized ¥â©ü adrenergic agonist is effective in controlling most infants with troublesome recurrent attacks.
